Feature Requests: Everfit Core

Meal Builder
Hi Everfit Team, I wanted to report a major issue with the current food logging system that is significantly impacting both my coaching workflow and my clients’ ability to track nutrition accurately. Current Issues: No Meal Building Workflow The “Search” function logs foods instantly as individual items. There is no clear way to combine multiple ingredients into a single meal before logging. The “Manual Add” option does not allow building a recipe—only manual macro entry. No Ability to Save Meals Properly There is no intuitive or consistent way to create and save a meal from multiple ingredients. This prevents clients from logging common combinations (e.g., coffee + creamer, meal prep bowls, recipes). Serving Sizes Cannot Be Set for Recipes When attempting to create a recipe or meal, there is no option to define serving sizes. This makes it impossible to accurately portion meals or reuse them in the future. Impact: Clients are forced to log ingredients individually instead of as a meal Recipes cannot be saved or reused properly Portion control and macro accuracy are compromised This creates confusion, frustration, and reduces adherence It is a significant downgrade in usability compared to other tracking platforms Suggested Fixes: Add a “Create Meal / Recipe Builder” flow where users can: Add multiple ingredients before logging Set total servings and portion sizes Name and save the meal Update the “+” button behavior to allow adding items into a temporary meal instead of logging instantly Include a clear “Save as Meal” option within the logging process Ensure serving sizes can be defined and adjusted when creating meals/recipes This functionality is essential for coaches and clients who rely on accurate macro tracking and meal planning. At the moment, it is not possible to use the feature as intended. I really enjoy using Everfit and want to continue building my business on this platform, but this issue is a major blocker. Please let me know if there is a fix or update planned.
