Save meals for future use

Allow clients to save their meals. Having to enter the macros for the same meal over and over again is a major irritant and time waster. Being able to save meals for future use would make the nutrition feature way more user friendly!

The feature to save meals in the client app has been launched. Here’s the article for reference: https://help.everfit.io/en/articles/13358506-client-app-save-log-meals

Save & Reuse Logged Foods / Meals

Several users have flagged friction with daily nutrition logging, specifically for repeat foods (ex: daily protein shakes or staple meals).
Current limitation:
• Logged foods cannot be clicked to view macros after entry
• Foods/meals cannot be saved as favorites
• Meals cannot be copied or duplicated from previous days
• Users must re-enter macro values manually each day, even for identical foods
Why this matters:
This creates unnecessary friction for consistent users and increases logging fatigue, especially for clients following structured meal plans with recurring foods.
Requested functionality:
• Ability to save individual foods or meals as “favorites”
• Ability to view macro details on previously logged items
• Ability to copy or duplicate meals from a prior day to the current day
Impact:
This would significantly improve user experience, increase adherence, and reduce frustration for clients tracking consistently.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.

Yes, I think once a client adds a meal through the nutrition tracking it should save to their library at the top or at least is searchable!
