Notifications for other trainers assigned to clients
planned
Alex Marshall
I have a couple coaches who are newer and are shadowing me on some clients, with the intent to move the to be the main coach. Even though the client is shared with the other Trainer, that Trainer does not receive any notifications from the client within Everfit (since they aren't the "owner"). I'd love to be able to customize which notifications the assigned Trainers can receive

Shared Notifications for Assistant Coaches / Trainers
Y
Yuvanraj Subramaniam
Hello Everfit Team,
I would like to request a feature that would greatly help teams who work with assistant coaches or accountability coaches.
Currently, only the main assigned coach receives notifications when a client logs a workout or completes activities. While this works well for solo coaches, it becomes a limitation when running a team-based coaching system.
In my setup, I have an assistant coach who supports my online clients with:
• accountability
• motivation
• follow-ups
• progress monitoring
He has trainer access and can view all client data, but he does not receive real-time notifications when clients log workouts. This means he has to manually check logs, which reduces the speed and effectiveness of client support.
What I’m requesting
A feature that allows:
• Shared notifications for assistant coaches / trainers
OR
• An option to enable duplicate notifications for selected team members
This would help teams provide:
✔ faster feedback
✔ better accountability
✔ stronger client engagement
✔ improved retention
Why this matters
As online coaching businesses grow, more coaches rely on support staff and accountability coaches to maintain high-quality service.
Shared notifications would make Everfit even stronger for:
• coaching teams
• growing fitness businesses
• agencies running multiple coaches under one brand
This feature would directly support scalability and professionalism in the platform.

Thank you for considering this request.
I truly enjoy using Everfit and believe this improvement would add great value to many coaching teams.

Allow ADMIN accounts to be set as "Assistant coach" teammates & receive client notifications
Coach Shayla
Currently, we can grant access to other coaches on our team -
whose accounts are at the "Trainer" level
- to help manage a client. However, if the assisting coach's account is set at the "Admin" level, it already technically has "access" to all clients, so we cannot designate them as a teammate.
This becomes an issue because, as head coaches for our business, we have Admin accounts - but we partner with our assistant coaches and
need to be able to receive notifications for client activity
(which is a feature being developed: https://everfit.canny.io/feature-requests/p/notifications-for-other-trainers-assigned-to-clients)As of right now, we cannot designate a way to receive notifications for these clients we assist with, and have to manually check client accounts for workout comments, completed tasks etc.

This feature is of great importance.
My assistant coach needs to be able to see who has replied to comments, who has posted in the food journal, and the workouts completed. The absence of this functionality makes her work inefficient, as she has to manually check each client one by one to see if there are any updates.
Could you please let me know if there is any timeline for when this improvement will be available? Thank you.

Give subcoaches notifications

Subcoaches who are granted access to a client should also receive notifications when a form is completed, task completed, etc.

Allow All Admins to View All Client Notifications (Not Just Assigned Ones)
Healthshift Admin
❌ Currently, only the coach assigned to a client can see that client’s notifications —
which makes it difficult for teams working together to stay on top of check-ins, missed workouts, or flagged messages.
✅ Proposal: Give all admins (or selected roles) the ability to view all client notifications, regardless of who the client is assigned to.
Why This Matters:
• Team accountability: When multiple coaches or admins support the same client base, notifications should be visible across the team.
• Avoid missed actions: Important updates (like missed check-ins or flagged comments) can easily be missed if only the assigned coach sees them.
• More flexible team workflows: Admins or managers can oversee all clients, even if they aren’t directly assigned.
Suggested Options:
• A team setting to allow all admins to view all notifications.
• Or, a toggle on each team member’s profile to enable shared notifications access.

Yes to this!
Nutrifit Coaching
Is this going to be complete anytime soon? It has such a negative effect on coaching businesses that I don't think is fully appreciated and I would be willing to explain in more detail why this is such an important feature if anyone from Everfit wants to reach out . I don't need AI meal scanners, I need notifications off clients who are assigned to my other coach 😭

YESSS! This would be amazing to have implemented!
